Biography

Dr Sa'aga-Banuve is a clinical and public health expert with over 30 years experience in low resource settings in health and development. Her work has focused mainly on maternal and child health, non-communicable diseases, health system strengthening and public health initiatives.

Prior to joining NCEPH Rosalina has held roles as a senior manager in health development working in several Pacific island countries. 

Rosalina joined ANU in March 2019 as a Research Fellow with NCEPH, working on the Pacific Evidience Informed Policies and Programs (Pac-EVIPP) to strengthen field epidemiology in the Pacific.

She is currently a senior lecturer for the Masters of Epidemiology, supervising students from Australia and the Pacific.  She is the lead on the Pac-EVIPP + program. This is an extension of the Pac-EVIPP work and inclusion of Cambodian on Laos. This program's objective is to cultivate a resilient applied field epidemiology community in the Pacific and SE Asia regions. o
