Appointed to the Sir William Dobell Chair of Art History in 2006 citation "the University
recognises your pre-eminent national and international research, publication and teaching record.
This is in terms of not only the high quality of your research, but the large volume and sustained
nature of your contribution".
Awarded 2008 Citation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning from the Australian
Learning & Teaching Council citation reading "For the creation of innovative and vocationally
orientated methods of teaching art history and curatorship".
