Biography

I am a research psychologist/clinical neuroscientist. My core area of research is non-invasive brain stimulation (transcranial electrical and magnetic stimulation). My research focusses on understanding electrical brain stimulation effects on neurophysiology (e.g., neural noise and theta activity in the brain), and how these neurophysiological changes relate to behaviour and mood. My current work also involves the development of electrical and magnetic brain stimulation methods for the treatment of depression.
